The moment she performed with her band in a fashion show when Ann was spotted at the hands of Gloria Schiff an editor at Vogue Magazine. Within just a couple of weeks after that, editor-in Chief Diana Vreeland commissioned Ann to shoot the very first Vogue Cover featuring photographer Richard Avedon. Ann became one of the sought-after models in America, appearing on cover models for leading fashion magazines such as Vogue Bazaar or Cosmopolitan. Ann started modeling in Europe as well as Japan to Max Factor Revlon as well as Chanel following two years of success.
