Winona-Ryder

Winona Laura Horowitz professionally known by the name Winona Ryder was born in Winona Minnesota. The parents of her daughter named her after her hometown. Both her father Michel Horowitz, and mother Cynthia Palmer are authors and editors. Ryder's father came from the Jewish family Ryder thinks she's Jewish. Ryder has two half-siblings younger than her, Jubal and Sunyata. Ryder's family relocated to Mendocino County to California, when she was just seven years old. They didn't have electricity. Ryder who read a lot aged 12 became a book worm since Ryder was not able to access television. Ryder started taking acting classes at the American Conservatory Theatre when she reached the age of 12. Lucas The film from 1986 which was her first big part. Ryder was 15 at the time she was cast. Ryder was bullied throughout high school. Ryder hoped the acting profession would alter the way she dealt with bullying. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case. But that didn't stop her following her dreams. Her breakthrough came in Tim Burton's Beetlejuice in 1988. Ryder was able to continue playing parts that proved successful in a variety of films. Two Academy Awards were nominated, one for The Age of Innocence (1996).
