Donald Joseph Qualls (also known as DJ Qualls) is an American actor, producer and model. The actor gained fame following his role as a character in Road Trip. Since then the actor has been in a variety of feature films including for The New Guy Hustle & Flow or The Core. The actor has also been featured in more than 22 shows on television including Breaking Bad Supernatural Scrubs Lost Law & Order and many more. As a survivor of Hodgkin's Lymphoma and diagnosed at the age of 14 Qualls is a fighter. Two years later, the cancer has gone into Remission. However, the early treatment caused severe adverse effects on his health and development. After he began acting as a financial adviser, security for his finances was his aim. He was a victim of poverty in his childhood. In the course of an interview, he declared that if I don't achieve money security or feel out of control on the planet, I'll feel miserable. Also, he reflects on his own experiences as a child to figure out the ways he can tackle bullies. He believes that violence breaks his heart. DJ's ideal job is be a father in reel and in real life. Yet, he is aware that directors do not choose me for those roles. Someday he would love to have a child of his own as he is capable of dedicating less time to his career and more to the child he has.
