Reese Witherspoon seriously pursued her acting career after enrolment at Stanford University. Her early success was in films like Pleasantville, Election and Legally Blonde. It was her role in the role of Elle Woods in Legally Blonde's box-office hit that really was the start of her career. Witherspoon won the Academy Award for her performance in Walk the Line in 2005. At the beginning of 2000, she began her acting career by playing a range of minor TV appearances. She made her feature film debut in the 2003 comedy The Invisible Man. The television debut of her career was House of Lies Whitney. As well as her acting work, she has appeared in films like The Dictator or The Incredible Burt Wonderstone. She is an accomplished artist and painter, in along with being an accomplished actor.
